They wondered if I'd be a girl or a boy
When I was born, I became their toy
Amidst worries at school, I was their joy

All my movements, they have gazed
By me always, they were amazed
Anything I did, they have praised

They were my first fans, when I sang a rhyme
They believed I'm good, they would bet every dime
To shape me the best, they've given all their time

He took me out to places I'd have fun
She trained me; made sure I always won
My prayers are that, we forever stay one

They are different in their own ways; yet I believe
They are identical in what they want for me to achieve
How fortunate am I! From them such true love I receive

They have tasted in lives, their share of success
But disallowed pride and ego to get to their heads
Thus paving for me, a noble path of humbleness


From loving me, they would never remiss
They taught me what being social is
